All the children, parents and staff had an amazing day on our trip at the dinosaur park.

We did a sponsored ball kick across the pitch to raise money for our summer trip to the dinosaur park.

We finger painted a fish for our Father’s Day cards.

As we have been doing minibeasts, we went for a walk to the millpond to see which ones we could find.

This term we have been looking at mini beasts. We do a match back game in big group and can now name lots of different mini beasts. We have made spiders using our handprints and we have painted butterflies.

We made Easter cards using our fingerprints.

Daffodils for St David’s day

Finger painting hearts for our Mother’s Day cards.

The children used cotton wool to collage sheep and ducks.

The afternoon children enjoyed going for a walk to the millpond to feed the ducks.

We celebrated Chinese New Year by having Chinese food in our playgroup. We had noodles, rice, won tons, spring rolls, prawn toast. We then did some Dancing with the Chinese dragons.

We really enjoyed our class Christmas party. We had a visit from Father Christmas and played pass the parcel. We then got to have a dance.

All the children loved going on our Christmas trip to heatherton. We had a guest appearance from Father Christmas who gave everybody a present.

The playgroup children joined the nursery and Tweenies in the early years Christmas concert of Busy Busy Bethlehem.

The children have enjoyed doing lots of Christmas crafts to this term. They have made christmas pudding Rice Krispie cakes, Christmas decorations, cards, calendars, stockings and party hats.

The children used glue and glitter to create a firework picture.

The children coloured poppies for Rememberence day. Remembering our brave soldiers.

Cleaning out our pumpkins so we could use the contents to feed the squirrels, badgers and hedgehogs.
