Blwyddyn 5 2021-2022
The Class Teacher is Miss Phillips and the Class LSA is Miss Arnold.
Our topic to start the Autumn Term is 'Who Cares?' and the pupils have decided that they want to use the 'Nurturing NHS' as their focus. The children have chosen this topic themselves and have planned according to the 6 Areas of Learning and 4 Core Purposes, what they would like to do. We are hoping to organise a field trip and/or invite visitors into the school to support our learning and further our life experiences.

Reading - pupils should read every night, even if it is not their school reading book. Please encourage your children to read for pleasure.
Times Tables Practice - pupils will participate in the 110 club weekly and they will bring a copy of their current club home to help improve their fluency. They also have access to 'J2 Blast' on HWB. All pupil have a logon to IDL maths which we encourage to be completed for 15/20 minutes per day.
English, Mathematics and/or handwriting homework may be sent home during the week. This will follow on from classwork and help to consolidate skills being taught within the school day as and when necessary,
