SPUD UPDATE! We harvested our potatoes weighed them. Team Rockets potatoes weighed 500 grams and Team Gemsons weighed 800 grams. Afterwards Mrs Jelley cook our potatoes and they were delicious!
Over the holidays our butterflies emerged from their chrysalises. We observed them and thought it best to set them free.
UPDATE! Look how big our caterpillars have grown.
This term we are growing potatoes as part of a competition. On the 12th June we will pick, wash and weigh our potatoes and send in our entry.
Fun Day 2018
We are learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. Mrs Edwards ordered a butterfly garden for us to watch them grow from a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Children in the LRC2 enjoyed using the VR goggles . They are looking forward to using them again soon as part of their Superhero class topic.

We have been studying the work of Pembrokeshire artist Guy Manning . We were so pleased when Guy came to Class 7 to give us all a painting lesson 😀😀
Class 7 have adopted a family of giraffes from Born Free animal adoption. They sent us a toy giraffe. We named him Graham.
We are the Champions !! Class 7 took part in the annual Boccia tournament in Milford Haven . We played matches against other schools and made lots of new friends . We were so pleased to be in the final and proud to bring the trophy back to school .
Willow the reading dog and her owner Kim came to visit Class 7 today . They will be coming back soon to listen to the children read .
The LRC2 enjoyed making and eating pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Delicious!
We have had great fun making bird feeders . Today we put them on trees around school.
We made Rice Krispie Christmas Cake from a video Mrs Edwards saw on the Internet .... Fingers crossed they work out 😄

The LRC2 have been making rice krispie cakes for our school Macmillan coffee morning.
To celebrate Roald Dahl's 100th birthday the LRC2 had great fun making Wormy Spaghetti . The spaghetti is found in Roald Dahl's book The Twits . The children also made their own Mr Twit beard .
The LRC2 were lucky enough to have a visit from Pembrokeshire Falconry. They were able to hold a White Faced owl . They also received a letter from Pembrokeshire Falconry congratulating them on the work they have done on owls.
We made leek and potato soup for St David's Day.

The LRC2 were lucky enough to go horse riding this week at The Pembrokeshire Riding School in Hundleton.They enjoyed grooming and riding the ponies.

We have worked hard on our new wall display The Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. We have given the Owls speech bubbles. They are asking where their Mummy is ?
Today Katie came to school to talk to to the LRC2 about keeping clean . We had great fun putting glowing cream on our hands and looking at it under a special light.
The LRC2 have been busy making bird feeders . They have hung the bird feeders around the school grounds . The children are hoping that they will help the birds during the winter months.

Our school Governor Mrs Sue Hutchings visited our class today to say how much she enjoyed our singing at the Stackpole Centre. Mrs Hutchings gave us all a box of chocolates. We were delighted .
Pastor Pete visited the LRC2 today to thank us for singing so well at the Stackpole Centre .
LRC2 went to the Carol Service today at Stackpole Centre.They sang Away In A Manger , Silent Night ,Diolch Iesu and We Wish You A Merry Christmas.The children had a drink and mince pies. Everyone was delighted with their performance.
